Where it all started…
Chief instructor Yiannis Mataliotakis created the VIP ACADEMY - EXTENDED DIAMOND TACTICAL SELF PROTECTION / CLOSE PROTECTION school for escort security training in 2014 in Heraklion, Crete.
He has since completed more than 100 trainings in Crete, Athens, Thessaloniki and other cities in Greece and abroad.
At the VIP ACADEMY School, Giannis Matalliotakis trains security personnel, security guards, as well as security attendants of important business and organizations who wish to develop their knowledge in dealing with high-risk situations.
Giannis Matalliotakis, a member of the IPSSC Institute of Protection Specialists & Security Contractors, has years of experience in security training and the military. He is a certified trainer in unarmed and armed self-defense and self-defense tactics, suppression and immobilization, risk prevention and analysis, shift guard and itineraries, senior guard.
A shooting instructor and a member of the Hellenic Shooting Federation since 1999, Giannis Matalliotakis has been awarded top honors in all over the country Shooting Championships. He is also a certified water bodyguard and rescuer on the high seas, and is also certified to provide First Aid in high-risk situations.
